The Philadelphia Eagles can’t talk to Gus Bradley, Seattle’s defensive coordinator. Not until next week.
But they can talk to the Seahawks about talking to Bradley, and the Eagles announced they were given permission by the Seahawks to interview Bradley for their vacant head-coaching position.
Teams are forbidden this week from interviewing assistants whose teams are playing in the wild-card round of the playoffs, but they can interview beginning next week.
Bradley is the longest-tenured member of Seattle’s coaching staff, hired to be the defensive coordinator under Jim Mora in 2009 and one of only two assistants retained after Mora was fired and Pete Carroll took over.
