Report: Seahawks shopping Leon Washington
As the Seahawks reconfigure cap and budget following today’s blockbuster trade for Percy Harvin, they’re shopping return man Leon Washington

Seattle is on the brink of adding one of the league’s most explosive kickoff returners in the league as it acquires Percy Harvin.
Seattle already has one of the most explosive kickoff returners in the league in Leon Washington.
So the report from Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports that the Seahawks are soliciting offers for Washington isn’t a shock. But that doesn’t mean his departure is a certainty, either.
Seattle could be checking what a Pro Bowl returner — which Washington was in 2012 — would fetch in a trade. He’s scheduled to make $1.5 million in base salary in 2013, according to the players association database. His deal also includes a $1 million roster bonus.
