Will Seahawks be able to get a leg up in Levi’s Stadium?

News is breaking this morning that what looms as maybe the NFL’s best rivalry in the coming years will soon be held once a year in, well, Levi’s Stadium.

That’s what the new stadium for the San Francisco 49ers will be called after the team reached a deal with local business institution Levi Strauss.

That stadium is due to open for the 2014 season, giving the Seahawks one last game this year at famed Candlestick Park.

The Seahawks are 6-7 at the stick, but have lost four in a row there since a 34-13 win in Mike Holmgren’s last year as coach, obviously meaning Pete Carroll is stillĀ  looking for his first win there as Seattle’s coach.

The Seahawks will play at San Francisco on Dec. 8.
