Rookie mini-camp roster tidbits

The roster for the three-day rookie mini-camp — which is today, Saturday and Sunday — is out, and it features 65 names.

Included are all the draft picks of this year, a few from last year, and all of the recently signed undrafted free agents.

There are also, by my count, 36 players here on tryouts.

Among those is former Washington center Drew Schaefer.

A couple of others with local ties are tight end Victor Marshall of Kirkland and the University of British Columbia and receiver Justin Veltung of Puyallup and the University of Idaho.

One intriguing Pac-12 name is defensive tackle Andrew Seumalo of Oregon State.

Here’s a story on Seumalo from March, detailing the drastic body changes he was making in an attempt to ready himself for a pro career.

Another Pac-12 alum here is free safety Drew McAllister of USC.

Seattle is at the official roster limit of 90, so any tryout guys would have to bump someone off to  have a chance to come to camp.
