Russell Wilson throwing out first pitch at Mariners’ game tonight

Seahawks starting quarterback Russell Wilson is throwing out the first pitch before the Mariners-Yankees game tonight at Safeco Field, as he happily noted on his Twitter page a little while ago:

He’s doing so on a night when the team is also celebrating the grand re-opening of Seahawks Pro Shop at CenturyLink Field (details here).

Seahawk teammate Kam Chancellor responded with this video of Wilson’s curveball:

And recall that Wilson played minor league baseball for two seasons, as was recounted in this story from the Times last year.
