The signing of Tarvaris Jackson as a backup quarterback for the Seahawks appears imminent.
But according to a Tweet from Jackson in the last hour, it may wait until Thursday. Responding to a question, Jackson Tweeted:
@smilezp12 not officially… Headed that way tomorrow to make it official!

Still unclear is what the corresponding roster move would be for the Seahawks, if they would cut Brady Quinn or Jerrod Johnson, or neither and let all of them battle it out and waive a player from another spot.
Quinn signed a one-year deal worth $780,000 that included a $65,000 bonus.
Jackson is also expected to sign a one-year deal.
