— ESPN.com has a series today asking which is each team’s “can’t-lose” player, other than quarterback. Earl Thomas was the choice for the Seahawks. The author says he was torn between Thomas and Richard Sherman. I think you could throw Russell Okung into that, as well. As the author rightly states, Seattle’s cornerback depth seems better this year, with both Antoine Winfield and the apparent return to health and emergence of Walter Thurmond;
— Russell Wilson has been nominated for an ESPY;
— Seahawks.com’s position previews today hits on the tight ends;
— Rob Rang of CBSSports.com says Jesse Williams could be a really good fit for Seattle’s D-line;
— A hometown paper has a feature on OL Michael Bowie;
— And here was a personal favorite to read this morning — Gregg Doyel of CBSSports.com saying it’s time to stop playing the “blame game” with Aaron Hernandez. I couldn’t agree more;
