A pre-trial hearing regarding Marshawn Lynch’s DUI arrest last July in Oakland will be held Thursday, according to Teresa Drenick of the Alameda County District Attorney’s office.
The hearing, related specifically to a motion to suppress evidence in the case, had originally been set for today. The court date for the hearing itself has now been set for Nov. 1.
Lynch pleaded not guilty to two charges from the arrest, which included driving while having a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher, and driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
No trail date has yet been set for the charges.
Lynch was not disciplined by the team for the arrest, and with the current timeline, it’s possible the case will not have a resolution until late into this season, possibly going unresolved until after the season.
