The NFL would certainly like it if the Supplemental Draft were a big deal someday, providing some news during a dead time of year.
But it’s not yet.
It certainly wasn’t this year as none of the players available in the draft this year were taken when it was held today — details, such as they are, here from NFL.com.
As I noted earlier, the one player on the list who has some real ties to the Seahawks’ staff is defensive end James Boyd of UNLV, who signed with USC when Pete Carroll was the coach there before transferring. But as would be the case with any free agent, signing anyone off that list would mean waiving someone else off the current 90-man camp roster.
