Saturday links — Wilson’s jersey second-highest selling in NFL

Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson are not only two of the top, young quarterbacks in the NFL and maybe the key players in  deciding the NFC West race this season, but they are also now have the top two selling jerseys in the NFL.

NFL.com has the details today, via the original story from CNBC, showing that both quarterbacks moved ahead of Robert Griffin III, now third on the list.

Could be simply the enthusiasm in San Francisco and Seattle seeping over into jersey sales. Or maybe each is developing a big national following. Or, more likely, some of both.
