Seahawks announce fan training camp policies

Not only does training camp begin tomorrow, but so does the first of 14 practices that are open to the public.

The 2,500 spots for each open practice are already accounted for — like everything else connected with this team, tickets went quickly.

The Seahawks, though, today sent out some information on what those fans can expect when they come to the Virginia Mason Athletic Complex in Renton.

Here is that info:

WHAT: Seahawks Training Camp Fan Registration and Transportation Center

WHERE: The Landing, 910 North 10th Place, Suite B, Renton

WHEN: Thursday, July 25

8:30 a.m. Fan registration area opens

8:45 a.m. First fan bus departs The Landing to VMAC

10 a.m. Seahawks practice begins

INFO: Fans are encouraged to arrive early and park at The Landing Shopping Center in Renton in order to get on a shuttle in time to make it to Virginia Mason Athletic Center (VMAC) for the start of each practice.

Fans are encouraged to carpool or take public transportation when possible to ease traffic congestion.

The Seahawks training facility parking lot will be closed to the public.

Panera Bread and Top Pot Doughnuts will be open early for Seahawks fans

Fans are invited to park on the top two floors of the parking garage

The Landing is a pedestrian-friendly shopping neighborhood, nestled on the south shore of Lake Washington, across from the Boeing Renton Plant. With over 50 merchants – including 19 different places to eat – there is something for everyone! It’s conveniently located at Exit 5, off I-405, in Renton.”
