Hawks claim LB Schofield

Still working on getting up some notes from practice.

But while doing that, reports are breaking that Seattle has picked up linebacker O’Brien Schofield off waivers from the Cardinals.

His agent released the news in the Tweet below:

Schofield started  nine games for the Cardinals last season playing outside linebacker but was waived two days ago.

He’d likely compete for the outside rush LB job for the Seahawks. He played in college at Wisconsin and is entering his fourth year in the NFL.

Seattle is at the max 90 players on its roster so the team would have to make a move to add Schofield. That has not been announced yet.
