The Seahawks will take to the field at the VMAC later today for a final walk-through before Saturday’s exhibition against Denver.
Expect the starters to play at least a quarter, which would be roughly twice as much as last week but will still leave enough time for younger players and free agents to show their wares.
Among th0se hoping to get on the field and impress the coaches is receiver Bryan Walters of Juanita High in Kirkland. Walters was an early camp standout before suffering a hamstring injury. Still, Saturday promises to be meaningful for him as it will be the first time he expects to suit up and run through the tunnel at CenturyLink Field.
I wrote about Walters and his efforts to make the Seahawks in this story for the Friday paper. There is also some video of Walters talking to reporters after Thursday’s practice at the bottom.
In other news. …
