Wednesday practice notes

Due to the chat, a little late getting up some of the notes from practice.

Here are a few quick personnel notes from practice today. …

— Two new players out today were WR Stephen Williams and DL Jordan Hill. We’re not sure what the deal is with Williams since coach Pete Carroll was not available to talk to the media. Hill hurt his arm in Tuesday’s practice.

— Also out again today were DL Jesse Williams (knee), FB Mike Robinson (sick) and WR Bryan Walters (hamstring).

— Cornerback Antione Winfield appeared to suffer a knee injury about halfway through practice, and watched the rest of it from the sidelines with ice on his knee.

— Players who have returned such as TE Zach Miller, DE Cliff Avril and DE/LB Bruce Irvin were again practicing, but Avril and  Irvin did not appear to do much work during the team period.
