Post-game notes and Carroll video

Well, hard to do the preseason much better than the Seahawks just did.

They easily handled Oakland 22-6 to finish 4-0 and win nine exhibition games in a row dating to 2011.

The starters got only one series, but looked really good in that series, with the offense driving for an easy touchdown and the defense getting a three-and-out.

Now comes paring the roster to 53 by Saturday at 3 p.m. and preparing for the season.

In the only real negative of the night, Seattle suffered two injuries of note as receiver Stephen Williams left with concerns of a concussion after his big catch to start the game, and rookie offensive lineman Michael Bowie hurt his shoulder, which coach Pete Carroll said might be serious.

I had some computer issues tonight, so I’m going to have to keep this short for now, but will hopefully post some more over the next day or so.
