Like the rest of the NFL, the Seahawks will be laboring on Labor Day, hitting the field later today for their first practice of what is the first week of the regular season, preparing for Sunday’s opener at Carolina.
That game is the first of five 10 a.m. Seattle time starts for the Seahawks, something I wrote about for today’s paper.
As noted in the story, it’s not easy to really determine if it’s 10 a.m. starts, or merely the challenge of playing on the road, that’s the biggest issue.
Regardless, the Seahawks are taking steps to try to address it, which is newsworthy in itself. How much it helps we’ll begin to find out Sunday.
