Seattle made a change in its eight-man practice squad today, signing receiver Tyrone Walker and releasing defensive end Ty Powell.
Walker, an undrafted free agent out of Illinois State, had a solid camp for the Packers and considered by some a darkhorse contender to make the roster before being cut.
Walker practiced with the Seahawks today and is the second WR on the practice squad along with Bryan Walters.
Walker played at Illinois State University and led the Packers with 11 receptions for 78 yards in the preseason.
Powell was one of Seattle’s four seventh-round choices in the 2013 draft out of Harding University.
