Browner out of practice today, Avril, Mebane and McDaniels all full participants

Seattle’s injury report for today is out, and of most significance is that cornrerback Brandon Browner did not participate with a hamstring injury.

If Browner cannot play, he would be replaced in the starting lineup by Walter Thurmond, with Jeremy Lane ascending to starting nickelback, or possibly Thurmond moving inside and Lane or Byron Maxwell outside.

Also not participating today were DE Chris Clemons, DT Jordan Hill and OL Michael Bowie. Clemons was already ruled out this week as he continues to rehab a knee injury. Hill (biceps) and Bowie (shoulder) are each trying to come back from recent injuries.

Listed as fully participating were five players who entered the week with a few question marks, notably DE Cliff Avril and DTs Brandon Mebane and Tony McDaniels. With those three back, Seattle’s starting defensive line could be intact for the opening game against the Panthers.

Also listed as full participants were receivers Sidney Rice and Stephen Williams.
