Video: Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn

Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn met the media after practice today and talked about defending Carolina and quarterback Cam Newton and what he learned reviewing the film from last year’s game, when Seattle won 16-12 (Quinn was the defensive coordinator at Florida at the time).

Quinn also talked about the return of Jameson Konz to the practice squad and that he will be used as defensive end/LEO.

“He’s long and fast, that was kind of my first evaluation of him,” Quinn said of Konz, who has had several stints with the Seahawks and was in camp earlier as a tight end. “I saw a guy with real speed, and that’s one of the position criteria that we look for there.”
