Morning links: Millen breaks down the Seahawks

I’ve got a long morning of travel ahead so just a little time for a few links. But I wanted to make sure you saw a new feature in our paper for this season, Hugh Millen’s weekly breakdown of the Seahawks’ game.

The former UW and longtime NFL quarterback is now also a regular guest on KJR-AM and has become known for his ability to analyze games.

You can find his piece on the Seahawks-Carolina game here.

His point on the Jermaine Kearse touchdown reminded me of something Kearse said after the game about why the Seahawks didn’t go deep more in the game.

“They were in cover two a lot, the safeties were real deep, so it was kind of hard to take some deep shots,” Kearse said. “But when we had our chance, we went for it and I was blessed enough to come down with the ball.”

Here are a couple of other quick links this morning. …
