Report: Seahawks try out Daniel Fells

Reports that the Seahawks were going to try out tight end Daniel Fells have been out there the past two days.

And the National Football Post is reporting tonight that Fells — who has played in the NFL since 2008 — did indeed work out for the Seahawks today.

Fells is the older brother of Darren Fells, who was in Seattle’s camp this year until the final cut.

Seattle ended up keeping just two tight ends in Zach Miller and Luke Willson, using OL Mike Person as a tight end in some situations. Person had a tough game against Carolina, though, with two penalties, officially playing only two snaps.
