Report: Okung has torn ligament in toe

We’re still waiting for Pete Carroll’s press conference, scheduled today for 5 p.m., for official word on any injuries out of Sunday’s game against the 49ers.

But Adam Schefter is reporting that Russell Okung has a torn ligament in his toe and is unlikely to play Sunday against Jacksonville:

If so, though, that may be good news as that seems to indicate Okung could be back the following week, when the Seahawks travel to Houston for what on paper looms as a much tougher game than against the struggling Jaguars.

Okung was injured in the first half Sunday and didn’t return. Carroll said after the game that Okung had an issue with his toe but that they hadn’t yet figured out what it was.
