A quite post to note that after New Orleans’ win over Miami tonight, there are just five undefeated teams left in the NFL — including the Seahawks.
The teams are the Saints, Seahawks, Broncos, Chiefs and New England.
Obviously, only two of those are in the NFC — the Saints and the Seahawks, who will meet on Dec. 2 in Seattle in a Monday Night game that suddenly looks like it could be one of the marquee matchups of the season.
This is the first time Seattle has ever been 4-0, and as such, the longest it has gone into a season undefeated.
Seattle has a tough test this week at Indianapolis.
Interestingly, each of the other four undefeated teams also is on the road this weekend. Here are those games:
New Orleans at Chicago,
Denver at Dallas,
Kansas City, at Tennessee,
New England at Cincinnati.
Given the challenges of going on the road, it will be no surprise if that list dwindles a little more next week.
