Seahawk personnel updates: Unger to practice, Bennett “fine”

Here are some quick Seahawk personnel updates from coach Pete Carroll’s Wednesday press conference:

— Carroll said DL Michael Bennett is “fine” and on track to play Sunday;

— Carroll said C Max Unger will practice today with the plan to play Sunday;

— He said RT Breno Giacomini is in New York this week, beginning the recovery process from arthroscopic knee surgery with the doctor who performed the surgery. He is obviously out for this week but Carroll said they do not have any specific ETA for his return;

— SS Jeron Johnson will practice today with the hope of returning this week, as will DT Jordan Hill. However, Carroll said FB Spencer Ware remains “hobbled” with a sprained ankle, indicating he is likely out another week.
