The Seahawks’ official depth chart, as prepared by the team’s media relations staff, is out for this week.
And in the one significant change, Bruce Irvin is listed as the starter at strongside linebacker (or as it says there, OLB, meaning outside linebacker, though he plays more specifically on the strongside).
Irvin played for the first time last week against the Colts, and was on the field for 37 snaps, playing some also in the role he had last year as a rush end, but also seeing time in the SLB spot that is new to him this year.
The depth chart lists Breno Giacomini as the starter at right tackle, but coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Giacomini won’t be ready this week as he continues to recover from arthroscopic knee surgery last week. It also lists Zach Miller at tight end, but he is also day-to-day with a hamstring injury that held him out last week.
