Morning links: Offense getting a little more whole with each week

While Sunday’s game was, uh, a little inartful at best, there were still some promising signs for the offense, such as gaining more than 400 yards for the second straight week.

I wrote about the offense for Tuesday’s paper, focusing on some of what Pete Carroll said was better, as well as the fact that the offense is beginning to get healthy, as well, with Max Unger returning last week and Zach Miller this week.

— NFL.com notes that if the season ended today, Seattle would be the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs, potentially having to host the 49ers, Cowboys or Lions in the divisional round of the playoffs;

— Seahawks details the short week ahead for the Seahawks;

— Seahawks.com also puts the focus on Russell Wilson;

— Pro Football Talk reports that the Seahawks recently tried out four linebackers;

Josh Hull, though, has already signed with the Rams:

— ESPN.com has a review of Seattle’s week six;

— Arizona defensive end Calais Campbell, carted off the field Sunday, hopes to play Thursday;
