THIS POST HAS BEEN UPDATED SINCE IT WAS INITIALLY PUBLISHED:
Seattle’s injury report for today is out for today, and has been corrected since it was first published. The injury report initially listed Marshawn Lynch as not participating today due to an ankle issue, which would have been a new injury. But the team quickly corrected the report to state that Lynch sat out today with a hip injury — the same one he played through last week against Houston.
Lynch, if you recall, was listed as not participating last Friday due to a hip issue — officially listed as questionable for the game against the Titans — but he played, as coach Pete Carroll had said he would, and had 21 carries for 77 yards. Carroll did not meet with the meet today, but given that this is apparently just the same injury and that Lynch often sits out to rest anyway, this doesn’t seem a cause for concern.
Also listed as not participating today were: RB Spencer Ware, ankle; T Breno Giacomini, knee; LB Bobby Wagner, ankle; and DE Chris Clemons, elbow.
Listed as fully participating was TE Zach Miller, who is returning after sitting out two games with a hamstring issue.
The Seahawks play Arizona in Glendale Thursday night.
