Saturday morning links: Pass protection, Rams issues, and more

Time to get to the links. …

— Here’s our story for the Saturday paper on the Seahawks’ pass protection issues and Russell Wilson’s fumbles and what the team does now;

Pete Carroll had some interesting thoughts the other day on the issue of concussions and big hits, and while I didn’t get to it in this space, ESPN.com’s Terry Blount did a good job wrapping up what was said;

— Seahawks.com recaps the day, focusing on the return to full participation of Bobby Wagner;

— Seahawks.com also goes in-depth on the play Wilson made to get the ball to Zach Miller against Arizona;

— The Rams are insisting their reported inquiry to Brett Farve was just a joke;

— ESPN says the Rams need their defensive help to live up to its billing;

— Pro Football Talk notes that the game won’t be blacked out in St. Louis even if no one may actually be in the building due to the World Series game being played at the same time;

— And Yahoo.com details how easy it would be to get tickets for the game;

— Here’s ESPN’s Double Coverage preview of the game;

— NFL.com with a video preview;

— ESPN with lots of thoughts on the Rams;

— The Associated Press says the Rams may have a hard time stopping Marshawn Lynch;

— Rams also preparing for Seattle’s defense;

— The St. Louis Post-Dispatch ponders whether the Rams have a chance;

— Lots of stories like this one this week on quarterback instability throughout the NFL. Not an issue for the Seahawks so far, obviously.
