Prediction time

On paper, this isn’t a hard call at all as the Seahawks are now favored by as many as 12 points over the Rams in St. Louis Monday night.

St. Louis has a backup quarterback in Kellen Clemens, was struggling even before Sam Bradford was hurt, and the city will have its attention elsewhere with Game 5 of the World Series being played across town, likely leading to an especially sleepy atmosphere at the Edward Jones Dome.

Add it up, and it has all the makings of a relatively easy night for the Seahawks.

I’m not going to stray from that thought. Seattle’s defense is playing well right now, and this matchup could really suit the Seahawk offense as it goes against what is statistically one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL.

I’m thinking maybe this is the day when Marshawn Lynch really goes off, and leads the Seahawks to a comfortable win.

Call it, Seattle 27, St. Louis 6.

Now feel free to tell us your pick.
