Seahawks injury report: Lynch sits out practice

Seattle’s injury report for today lists six players who did not participate in practice, including running back Marshawn Lynch, listed as out with a knee injury.

Coach Pete Carroll did not mention that during his meeting with the media prior to practice today, so we don’t have any additional details on it. Lynch usually sits out the Wednesday practice anyway as a rest day, so we’ll see if this develops as something more than that.

Also out today were: FB Derrick Coleman, hamstring; OT Breno Giacomini, knee; G J.R. Sweezy, elbow; S Jeron Johnson,  hamstring and DE Michael Bennett, illness.

And remember that since Percy Harvin is not on the active roster he is not listed on the injury reports. However, Carroll said before practice he would not participate today.
