Saturday links: Can Seahawks win without Bryant and Unger?

The above question is one Seattle will have to answer if they are to beat Atlanta and get to 9-1.

And as I explained in our story for today’s paper, this is a common occurrence for the offensive line but a new thing for the defense to learn it is missing a starter for a game.

Other than the games that Cliff Avril and Chris Clemons missed at the beginning of the season, the starting defensive line has had its full complement of players all year, with the only starting defensive player to miss a game due to injury being middle linebacker Bobby Wagner.

In other news. …

— Seahawks.com puts its focus on Russell Wilson;

— The Falcons listed Roddy White as questionable Friday, but seems the general expectation is that he will play;

— The Sporting News notes that the line has gone down a little bit with the betting public noticing Seattle has not covered any of its last four games;

— NFL.com writes the Seahawks must some solve key issues;

— ESPN.com says the late bye works for Seattle;

— Here’s ESPN’s Double Coverage preview of the game;

— Most NFL players, including Seahawks, would rather have Jonathan Martin as a team than Richie Incognito;

— The Falcons’ official site says the team’s goal this week is to eliminate turnovers;

— More on Matt Ryan struggling to carry the Falcons on his own;

— The Falcons hope the return of White will boost the team’s running game.
