Seahawks activate Okung, cut B.J. Daniels

The Seahawks today made the expected move of activating left tackle Russell Okung from the injured reserve list, and cutting quarterback B.J. Daniels to make room on the 53-man roster.

That means Okung can play Sunday against the Vikings for what would be his first action since injuring a toe against the 49ers on Sept. 15.

Daniels, who was signed off waivers from the 49ers on Oct. 2, had not seen action in any games.

If he clears waivers he would be candidate for the team’s practice squad.
