This isn’t quite the high-profile signing of some of the other cornerbacks rumored associated with the Seahawks in recent days.
But the team did add another body at that spot today when it signed Akeem Auguste to the practice squad, cutting tight end Cooper Helfet to make room.
Aguste played at South Carolina, where he also played safety for a season.
He was among the last cuts of the Browns.
That so far is the only other move made by the Seahawks today along with the earlier signing of Perrish Cox, who will wear No. 30.
An updated roster still included Brandon Browner on the active roster, while moving Walter Thurmond to the suspended list.
