Harvin leads Seattle’s list of inactives against the Saints

As expected, receiver Percy Harvin is among Seattle’s seven inactives for tonight’s game against the Saints.

Harvin was listed by the team on Saturday as doubtful while continuing to battle a sore hip on which he had surgery on Aug. 1.

Harvin returned to make his Seahawks debut on Nov. 17 against Minnesota, but did not recover from that game as hoped and did not practice last week. NFL.com reported that Harvin had cortisone shots on his hip but would that his hip got worse during Seattle’s bye week.

NFL.com also reported that there is a chance the team might decide to sit out Harvin the rest of the regular season and hope to get him ready for the playoffs.

Seattle’s other inactives tonight are: RB Christine Michael, CB Brandon Browner, OLs Michael Bowie and Caylin Hauptmann and DLs Benson Mayowa and Jordan Hill.

All but Browner, who is out with a groin injury, are healthy inactives.

Inactive for New Orleans are: QB Ryan Griffin, RB Khiry Robinson, CB Trevin Wade, OLB Keyunta Dawson, OT Terron Armstead, WR Nick Toon and DE Glenn Foster.
