Video: Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson

Thursday marks the weekly press conference for Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson — there’s some video below.

A few highlights:

— Wilson talked about seeing a sports psychologist every Monday during the season for an hour or so. He said his goal in the sessions is to train his mind to be focused all the time;

— He talked about the game last year at San Francisco, a 13-6 loss, and said he had about 75 percent of the playbook at that time to work with, and that he also is much better now at knowing which protections to switch to at the line of scrimmage;

— He gave a funny response to a story that DT Michael Bennett said he was Wilson to recently get VIP treatment at a restaurant. Wilson said “I don’t do the rope (VIP) thing;”

— He said he’s not getting caught up in the talk that he could be in the MVP conversation, and gave a several minute response in which he talked about the contributions of just about every other offensive player — in other words, the response you would expect from Wilson;.
