Any idea that Seattle’s beatdown of the Saints Monday night might influence the odds for Seattle’s game Sunday at San Francisco don’t appear to be coming to fruition.
Instead, with just over two days now until kickoff, the 49ers remained favored by 2.5 to 3 points at most Vegas sports books.
The game features a few other intriguing — and conflicting — gambling storylines, courtesy of RJ Bell of Pregame.com.
According to Bell, the 49ers are 10-1 against the spread when playing teams with a record of plus.700 under coach Jim Harbaugh — Seattle, at 11-1, qualifies.
The Seahawks, however, are 15-3 against the spread when they have been underdogs under Pete Carroll.
So something’s got to give Sunday.
