Seahawks re-sign CB Perrish Cox, place Johnson on injured reserve

The Seattle Seahawks juts announced they have placed safety Jeron Johnson on injured reserve and signed Perrish Cox to the active roster.

Cox signed with Seattle on November 26 only to be released the following day.

Cox was with the 49ers earlier this season and will give the team five healthy cornerbacks. Johnson was the backup strong safety to Kam Chancellor and a key special teams player.

The Seahawks also confirmed they have signed linebacker Mike Taylor to the eight-man unit after the San Francisco 49ers signed guard Ryan Seymour to its 53-man roster.
