Lions interested in Cable?

Looks like another Seattle assistant coach is drawing some head coaching interest from somewhere else — offensive line coach Tom Cable, reportedly by Detroit.

However, Ian Rapaport of NFL.com is reporting the Lions have not made an official request to talk to Cable:

Cable is a former head coach of Idaho at the college level and the Raiders at the NFL level, and is also Seattle’s run game coordinator, so the interest in him makes some sense.

As noted earlier, assistants on teams that are in the divisional round can interview this weekend.

We’ll see where this goes.
