Tickets to Seattle’s Divisional Playoff game on Jan. 11 against a still-to-be-determined opponent went quickly.
Tickets officially went on sale at 10 a.m., and the team announced in a Tweet 26 minutes later that the game was sold out:
NFC Divisional Playoff game at @CenturyLink_Fld is sold out.
— Seattle Seahawks (@Seahawks) December 31, 2013
The team sold 62,000 season tickets this year, and assuming they all bought their allotted playoff tickets, that meant there weren’t a lot left for single-game sales in a stadium that seats roughly 68,000 (also, some tickets are usually allocated to the opponent and the NFL).
So that means at this point, the only way to get tickets is through the secondary market.
Here’s the link to StubHub.com showing more than 6,000 tickets available, but at a pretty hefty price, beginning at $272 as I type this.
