Pete’s Carroll weekly press has concluded here at the VMAC.
Here are a few injury updates:
— Carroll said WR Percy Harvin will practice today. Asked also if he will play Saturday, Carroll didn’t answer, though did so with a smile. Carroll said today was a big day for Harvin to be able to practice but said again that he will have to make it through the week before he is cleared to play. Asked if Harvin would return kickoffs, Carroll didn’t answer directly but said that if Harvin is back, then he is back, which I think can be taken as a hint that he will return if available;
— Carroll said TE Luke Willson will also practice today and said he continues to recover quickly from the sprained ankle suffered in the regular season finale against the Rams;
— Carroll said LB K.J. Wright will run for the first time on Thursday as he continues to recover from a broken foot suffered Dec. 8 at San Francisco. But Carroll repeated that Wright will not play against the Saints;
— Carroll said everyone else on the active roster would be available to practice today.
