Pro Football Focus previews Seahawks-Saints

As always, here are some links and stats from Pro Football Focus, including its Three To Focus On previewing tomorrow’s game:

On the site this week:
An opponent for the upcoming game shows up in this week’s Secret Superstars, Wild Card Round.- No Seahawks made it, but the PFF All-Rookie Team came out this week, as did the Offensive, Defensive, and Overall Rookie of the Year.- This week’s 32 Observations gives four different notes about each remaining playoff team.

PFF Seahawks Stats

- In the week 13 meeting with the Saints, Russell Wilson completed 8-of-8 passes for 122 yards and 2 TDs when blitzed, good for a perfect 158.3 QB Rating.

- Golden Tate has a 108.6 WR Rating, which is 5th best among 43 qualifying wide receivers.

- Seattle finished tied for the 15th ranked Team Pass Blocking Efficiency at 77.0.

- Tony McDaniel’s 11.9 Run Stop Percentage finished 3rd best among 51 qualifying defensive tackles. He tallied 30 run stops on the year.

Upcoming Opponent: New Orleans Saints

- Against the Seahawks in week 13, Drew Brees went just 3-of-11 for 26 yards and a 39.6 QB Rating when pressured.

- Despite a quiet year, Marques Colston ranked 8th in WR Rating with a mark of 108.9.

- New Orleans had the 6th best Team Pass Blocking Efficiency in the league at 80.8.

- Cameron Jordan finished 2nd only to J.J. Watt in Pass Rush Productivity among 3-4 defensive ends. He had a PRP of 11.5 and racked up 76 total pressures.
