Ticket prices dropping as game nears

In something that is a fairly common occurrence, ticket prices on the secondary market for the Seahawks game tomorrow are dropping as kickoff nears.

Currently, tickets can be had for as low as $169 on StubHub.com.

The lowest price (or the get-in-the-door price) was over $200 earlier in the week.

A StubHub spokesman said via e-mail today that:  “Generally, StubHub sees ticket prices go down leading up to all events as sellers look to sell off their tickets. This occurs especially during playoff time as demand fluctuates a lot in a short amount of time. ”

Still, StubHub also reported that the  Seahawks-Saints game remains their highest-selling NFL playoff game this week.

The Seattle-NO game also has the highest median price of any of the four NFL Divisional games (each listed below):

  • · New Orleans Saints at Seattle Seahawks: $260
  • · San Francisco 49ers at Carolina Panthers: $175
  • · San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos: $245
  • · Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots: $160
