Note to self: Rip open the hand-warmer pouch BEFORE fingers freeze. It’s 14 degrees in Manhattan this morning, and there’s a new dusting of snow atop the mounds of snow left over from days ago.
The good news for those going to Super Bowl XLVIII is that the forecast improves steadily through the week. The Weather Channel is now saying Sunday will have a high of 44, a low of 27 and just a 20 percent chance of precip. I doubt that will be enough to satisfy the whiners who would rather be in a warmer city, but if the forecast holds, it will be a relief to the NFL.
