Derrick Coleman meets little girl who sent him letter, surprises with Super Bowl tickets

A little over a week ago, Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman responded to a letter from a fan in New Jersey about wearing hearing aids and overcoming adversity. In his response, Coleman said he would love to meet them.

Well, Coleman was able to do so, and made Riley Kovalick and her twin sister’s day and week in the process.

Here’s the story on their meeting from ABC News. At the end, the girls received a gift from Coleman that they probably never even thought was possible: Super Bowl XLVIII tickets, on behalf of Duracell.

SB Nation has images of their reaction to Coleman’s gift and a few screenshots throughout the video.

Coleman has gained national attention for his Duracell commercial, which focuses on his hearing aids. After the Riley’s letter went viral and Coleman responded, the scene was set for their meeting in New Jersey. The fullback added the cherry on top of a very cool moment.
