Seattle Times videos during Seahawks’ Super Bowl run

Genevieve Alvarez produced videos for us all week long from Super Bowl XLVIII in New York and during the team’s parade in Seattle.

- Street scenes from Super Bowl XLVIII parade in downtown Seattle. From linebackers ordering hot dogs to SPD cruisers instigating “SEA-HAWKS” chants, downtown Seattle was alive with Seahawk pride.

- Over half of a million fans showed a warm welcome home to the Seattle Seahawks as they paraded down 4th Street during their Super Bowl Championship parade.

- Local Seahawks fans from Everett to Normandy Park were thrilled to witness the historic Super Bowl win over Denver on Feb. 2, 2014.

- The city needs this Super Bowl victory. To obstruct the past. To redefine what the future can be. To eliminate the can’t-do assumption that plagues local sports. The Seahawks’ task is clear: Make the confetti fall anew.

- Seattle Times sports columnist Jerry Brewer shares his predictions and weighs in on key match-ups for Super Bowl Sunday.

- The 12th Man presence was strong along Super Bowl Boulevard, a section of Broadway in New York City where various Super Bowl activities have been set up.

- Seattle Times sports columnists Jerry Brewer and Larry Stone followed Richard Sherman and Marshawn Lynch during the Super Bowl XLVIII Media Day in Newark, NJ, at The Prudential Center.

- Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor, Max Unger  and numerous other Seahawks players spoke to an army of media, and a collection fans, at the Super Bowl XLVIII Media Day at The Prudential Center in Newark.

- With a 12th Man flag waving from the cockpit, the Seattle Seahawks arrived at Newark Liberty International Airport shortly after 7 p.m. EST. They were greeted by Port Authority, media and other airport personnel.
