Super Bowl XLVIII prop bets

There are more prop bets for the Super Bowl than any other sporting event. I went on Bovada’s website and looked for the most interesting. They have plenty of over/under bets for players’ statistics you can check out, too.

Erik Lacitis wrote a story about prop bets during the Super Bowl, how they are tracked, and why there are so many.

Here are the ones I thought were most worthy of noting. This post will be updated during Sunday’s game as the bets are settled:

How long will it take Renee Fleming to sing the official US National Anthem?

-          Over/Under: 2 minutes, 25 seconds

What will be higher?

-          Seconds in anthem

-          Peyton Manning first half passing yards

Will Renee Fleming omit a word of the official US National Anthem?

-          +300 yes

-          -500 no

Will Fleming wear gloves?

-          -160 yes

-          +120 no

What color will Fleming’s gloves be?

-          White +275

-          Other color +300

Will Moreno cry during the official US National Anthem?
