Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin rants about coverage of NFL Combine

The NFL Combine has become a big event for the league and is televised and covered extensively. Fans have gained a similar interest in what their team is doing off the field as well as on it.

ESPN and NFL Network are broadcasting shows from Indianapolis, home of the Combine, this weekend. Television analysts will dissect statistics like hand size, 40-yard dash and shuttle run times and many more.

Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin was not invited to the Combine after his career at Stanford and was not drafted. Unlike many players that were selected in the 2011 NFL Draft, though, Baldwin has enjoyed a productive professional career and is poised to be signed to a  new contract as a restricted free agent this offseason.

This morning Baldwin went on a self-proclaimed little “rant” on Twitter, during which he aired his thoughts about what he takes away from the coverage of the NFL Combine.
