Seferian-Jenkins passes on running at Combine UPDATED

Tight ends are among the groups being tested at the NFL Combine today.

But UW’s Austin Seferian-Jenkins has decided not to run a 40.

UPDATED: Since I first posted this, it has been reported on the NFL Network that Seferian-Jenkins has a foot injury and that is why he chose not to run.

Seferian-Jenkins didn’t mention an injury when he spoke to the media Thursday. Asked then what he has been running and jumping, he said: “I’m going to wait til Saturday and go with that. I’m looking to run 4.6-something and then 30-something on jumping.”

Seferian-Jenkins also had 20 bench presses (of 225 pounds). That was near the bottom of the tight end group, which was led by the 35 of Joe Don Duncan of Dixie State.

You can view all of the results here.
