David Plaut has been a producer for NFL Films for almost 30 years, and he’s been responsible for handling the Super Bowl champions highlight tapes that follows each season for many of them.
But Plaut offers this when discussing the Seattle highlight DVD, which hits stores on Tuesday (The Seahawks are having a private watch party on Monday night).
“There are probably more fan shots in this Seahawks Super Bowl champions film than any of the 28 I’ve done before,” Plaut said.
Plaut described the film as “meat and potatoes,” meaning it’s an encompassing look at all the games from this season, including soundbites and big plays. We’ll have a story from the private premiere in Tuesday’s paper, complete with thoughts on the film and more from Plaut on making it.
