Golden Tate on SiriusXM NFL Radio: “It’s going to work out the way it should”

Golden Tate was a guest tonight on SiriusXM NFL Radio with Alex Marvez and Bill Polian, and pretty much echoed comments he made last week about his pending free agency, that he hopes to stay with the Seahawks but that it’s too early to tell yet which way things are headed.

Asked if there had been talks yet with the Seahawks, Tate said things have been “pretty chill” and that he hasn’t “heard too much” mostly relying on his agent (Todd France) to handle negotiations.

As he did last week, Tate said the “hard part is over” in that he performed well on the field this year to set himself up for a big contract as he now enters free agency, which begins March 11.

“It’s going to work out the way it should,” he said. “Obviously I would like to be in Seattle, but the hard part is over.”
